Guide
How to choose your hair
Wig, extensions or bundles?
- Wigs give you a complete new look you can put on and take off. Choose a closure wig for a natural parting, or a frontal wig for an ear-to-ear hairline you can style back.
- Extensions add length and volume to your own hair.
- Bundles are hair on a weft for sew-ins, quick weaves and making your own wig or unit.
Which extension method?
| Method | Applied by | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Clip-in | You, at home | Occasional wear; in and out in minutes |
| Tape-in | A stylist | Flat, discreet everyday wear; moved up every 6–8 weeks |
| Keratin tip (K, I, U, flat) | A stylist | Strand-by-strand blending; long-term wear |
| Nano-ring / micro-link | A stylist | No heat or glue; small beads |
| Ponytail | You, at home | An instant full ponytail |
Length
Lengths run from 10 to 34 inches, measured straight from the top of the weft or tip to the ends. Wavy and curly textures look shorter on the head than their stretched length. As a rough guide on an average height: 12 inches reaches the chin to shoulders, 16 inches the collarbone, 20 inches the chest and 24 inches the mid-back.
Single drawn or double drawn
Single drawn hair keeps its natural mix of lengths and tapers at the ends, like your own hair. Double drawn hair has the shorter strands removed, so it is as full at the ends as at the top. Choose double drawn for a blunt, full look, especially at longer lengths.
Texture and shade
Pick the texture closest to your own hair, or the look you want. See all ten on the textures page. For shade, use the shade guide or send us a daylight photo on WhatsApp for a free match.
